After a most enjoyable time in Moncton, Nova Scotia it was now time to commute to amazing Prince Edward Island. Upon arriving at Prince Edward Island, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the New Glasgow Lobster Suppers.
When we say wonderful, we honestly mean it! We started off our dinner with appetizers, including a bucket of delicious Mussels and a bowl of seafood chowder. The mussels and the chowder were absolutely lovely to our palates!!
We then enjoyed a sampler plate which consisted of a taste of coleslaw, Prince Edward Island potato salad and a tasteful garden salad. The salad came with their wonderful home-made balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The PEI potato salad and the garden salad were also delicious.
After enjoying these amazing appetizers, we were thrilled that we brought our appetites to New Glasgow Lobster Suppers! The time had now come for the main course!
The main course was an amazing four-pound Prince Edward Island Lobster. Needless to say the lobster was perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious!
We finished our lobster and then somehow had some space for dessert. We finished off our fabulous meal with a delicious piece of delicious lemon meringue pie.
Needless to say, we were completely amazed and thrilled with our dining experience at the New Glasgow Lobster Suppers. We strongly recommend a visit to this amazing restaurant, for anyone who is in Prince Edward Island area!

The time had come now to rest our full bellies and return to our reserved campground. While exploring the Prince Edward Island area, we resided at the Island Life Cottages.
The following couple days, we spent our time exploring and swimming at the Prince Edward Island National Park. We were both excited and amazed by the beautiful beaches, wildlife, and amazing sunsets which the island offered.
What’s an island vacation without a little swimming? “The 37-mile Prince Edward Island National Park captures the beautiful north shore of the province, including the many picturesque white and red-sand beaches. And you may need to take a dip after spending the day hiking, cycling, golfing, or geocaching. The park also hosts the Greenwich Interpretation Centre, which features 20 interactive and multimedia exhibits about the region, and the 10,000 years of history that shaped it. If you didn’t manage to do everything in one day, you can always pitch your tent, relax by a campfire, and set off for round two in the morning.” (The Top 10 Attractions on Prince Edward Island)
During our time exploring, we were able to walk and swim at the beautiful beaches. The beaches are amazingly clean and beautiful! We also took the time to enjoy the beautiful wildlife and beautiful sunsets.
We also had an opportunity to visit the Covehead Harbour Lighthouse, on the beach just to the east of the entrance into Covehead Bay. The lighthouse sits beautifully on the sand dunes and the lighthouse is easily accessible from the road below.
We then explored some of the beautiful sights outside of the Prince Edward Island National Park. This Island is an absolutely must see, both the beaches and area are pristine. If you are looking for a gorgeous and relaxing beach vacation, a visit to Prince Edward Island would not disappoint!
